I wrote you a few weeks ago about building relationships with home service providers to grow your list, earn B2B referrals, and potentially zero-cost your marketing.
The easy way to get an appointment is to invite them to your podcast.
Our clients schedule a video shoot once a month on Riverside.fm to create their 2 videos a month on the Vyral Marketing Plan with our direction.
You can easily invite a guest and interview them.
In 2025, all clients will have an Apple Podcast. Not only do we email your videos to your list, post on your social media, run retargeting ads, and promote them with a postcard to your top contacts - we will also push to your Apple Podcast at no extra charge.

Ask your assistant to call companies on Yelp! or Google (ex. "HVAC Company in Phoenix"). You'll find the owner's name on the About page or using www.OpenCorporates.com. You can often call the receptionist and ask for the owner's email address directly. You want to meet ambitious entrepreneurs; start with companies spending money in the newspaper, ValPak, Google Advertising, television, or radio.
Here’s a vendor prospecting email:
SUBJECT: <<City>> real estate podcast guest invite
<<Name>> -
I understand you own <<company>> here in town. <<Client Name>> who sells <<x>> homes a year here in <<city>> with an email list of <<x,xxx> homeowners would like to interview you for 10 minutes on his/her podcast answering a question he/she gets all the time <<question>>. You can join from your mobile phone on <<date/time>> using Riverside.fm so there’s no need to come to our office. We’ll send your interview out with a gift certificate for your service, too. No charge. We ask you to send it to your email list or post it on social media as well. We ultimately seek a deeper relationship with a <<professional>> to send new business. You can learn more about <<client name>> at <<website>>. Any interest? - <<Assistant Name>>
PRO TIP: In my opinion, the best person you should interview is a politician since their party gives them the registered voter list. Ask them to send it out. This worked exceptionally well for a client.
This is the next step after you’ve mastered your own videos – you start a talk show, podcast, or interview series to increase your exposure and build key relationships.
I call it Vyral Marketing 2.0. This is how to get your vendor program going without any additional expense on your part in 2025.

Here is a video where I work with a client to walk through this full strategy with a client to book appointments with vendors, execute cross-promotion, and sell sponsorships.
